AGRICULTURE’S STRATEGIC GOALS FOR 2030
“By 2030, Russian agricultural production must grow by at least a quarter compared with 2021, and exports must increase by a factor of 1.5.”
“Let me emphasise: this is our strategic goal, and it must be achieved by strengthening the industry’s technological capabilities.”
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin
“The sector needs innovative solutions and must become more knowledge-intensive and technologically advanced to remain as effective. It needs specialists who understand smart field management, genetic engineering, robotics, food waste processing and other equally important fields.”
Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishustin
“Russia’s agricultural sector is an economic miracle: in just a few years, it has grown significantly and become central to the economy. We not only feed ourselves but also supply products to 160 countries. The main task now is workforce development. We need to actively attract young people to agriculture and make education inspire them to work in the industry.”
Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Oksana Nikolayevna Lut
