City Farmer director Ekaterina visited the Golden Autumn exhibition in Moscow. Access to agricultural education for children with special educational needs was an important theme of the visit.
Our team believes children of different abilities should be able to explore agricultural technologies, grow plants, experiment and discover their talents. The visit showed that our experience attracts interest, our proposals are heard and others are ready to discuss joint work.
Golden Autumn holds special memories for Ekaterina. It was here that she won the first national Women in Agriculture competition in the ‘Who, if not me?’ category. Later, she presented City Farmer and its continuous agricultural education pathway starting in kindergarten.
A warm highlight this year was meeting Minister Anna Bykova. We return with new ideas and inspiration for the work ahead!
