A new agrotechnology classroom opens in Chaykovsky District

A new classroom in Perm Krai features City Farmer’s Greens Station
Fokinskaya School in Chaykovsky District has opened an agrotechnology classroom specialising in ‘Agricultural Technologies of the Future: Technology and Management’.

The project was supported by Chaykovskaya Poultry Farm under the federal Agricultural Workforce project, part of the national Technological Support for Food Security project. Chaykovsky Industrial College is the academic partner.

The new learning space includes a classroom, laboratory and museum exhibition area. One of its equipment components is City Farmer’s Greens Station.

The equipment introduces students to hydroponic growing and modern agricultural technologies through practice. They can observe every stage of plant development, conduct experiments and gain skills relevant to modern agriculture.

Spaces like this introduce school students to agricultural careers and encourage an interest in the industry’s technological fields while they are still at school.

Our team is especially proud that our equipment is contributing to agricultural technology education in Perm Krai.
